This project was a true ground-up transformation, blending structural function with visual appeal.
The patio was constructed using high-quality pavers set on a compacted stone base for stability and longevity. To ensure proper water management, we installed a drainage system beneath and around the hardscape areas, including perforated pipe and gravel trenches to direct water away from the foundation and prevent pooling. This helps protect both the patio and the surrounding landscape from erosion and water damage over time.
We also built a retaining wall to handle the grade change on the property, giving the space definition and support. The wall was constructed with structural block, reinforced where needed, and tied into the drainage system to relieve hydrostatic pressure behind it.
The landscape installation was fully comprehensive. We laid fresh sod to create a vibrant new lawn, edged all beds for clean separation, and installed a variety of plants and shrubs selected for seasonal color and growth balance. We finished it off with a clean layer of mulch to lock in moisture and enhance the look of the beds.
