JPB manages landscape installation from planning through completion. We build functional, durable landscapes designed around the property, site conditions, drainage, and long-term use.
What we install
Plantings and landscape beds. Grading and site preparation. Mulch, edging, and finish work. Hydroseeding and site stabilization and drainage have their own pages when that is the scope. From newly developed sites to existing properties that need substantial improvements, JPB handles the work needed to leave the landscape complete and ready for use.
Who the work is for
JPB works with property managers, commercial property owners, contractors, and developers throughout Central Pennsylvania. Projects range from new landscape installations and construction closeout to upgrades of entrances, common areas, and existing commercial properties.
JPB serves York, Enola, Hershey, Harrisburg, Colonial Park, Mechanicsburg, Dillsburg, Marysville, New Cumberland, and surrounding Central Pennsylvania communities.
How a project runs
We start with a property walkthrough to evaluate the site and define the scope of work. From grading and site preparation through planting, mulch installation, and final cleanup, JPB coordinates the work from start to finish.
For larger commercial properties, we use equipment and installation methods appropriate to the size and conditions of the site, including blown-in mulch where it makes sense.
Problems we solve
Bare or unfinished areas left after construction. Landscape beds that need to be rebuilt or completed. Plantings poorly suited to the property. Drainage and grading conditions that contribute to erosion. Aging entrances and common areas that need a more finished, professional appearance.
JPB approaches landscape installation as part of the property—not simply a collection of plants.
After installation
JPB can continue caring for the property after installation is complete. Ask about ongoing grounds maintenance during your property walkthrough.
Turf and landscape treatments are performed under JPB’s Pennsylvania pesticide business license BU 14801 and applicator license #613760.
The team that builds the landscape already knows the property, the plantings, the grades, and the problem areas—making ongoing maintenance a natural next step.
Questions we hear on site visits
- Is this design-build or plant-only?
- We handle landscape installation from planning through completion, including grading, bed preparation, planting, mulch, and final cleanup. If you already have a landscape plan, we can work from it. If not, we'll help develop an installation that fits the property, functions properly, and can be maintained efficiently over the long term.
- Can you finish a construction site?
- Yes. JPB can take a site from final grading through hydroseeding, planting, mulch installation, and cleanup. For larger commercial properties, blown-in mulch can provide an efficient way to cover extensive landscape beds while reducing equipment and wheelbarrow traffic across the property.
- Do you install only for residential properties?
- No. JPB handles residential work as well as commercial landscape installation. We work with commercial campuses, homes, and other properties where the landscape needs to look professional, function properly, and hold up to regular use.
- What happens after installation?
- JPB can continue maintaining the property after the installation is complete. Discuss ongoing grounds maintenance during the walkthrough and we can incorporate it into the overall property plan. There is also an advantage to having the same company maintain what it installed: our team already knows the property, the plantings, the grades, and the areas that may require particular attention.
